Yoga Life in St. Joseph is stretching into a new pose. Owner Brooke Margherone announced to customers recently that portions of the Yoga Life building are now available for lease — and it’s part of a the long-term vision to be a community hub for wellness.
From the time she opened a small space in downtown St. Joseph to the large Yoga Life studio building as it stands now on Cleveland Avenue, Margherone said she developed a vision of helping the greater community.
“Now as we approach our 10th birthday, it’s time to step into that next phase of my vision. We are transitioning to even more of a holistic and tailored approach to health and wellbeing, in addition to all the Yoga we offer.”
Margherone said the business is expanding to lease space to other businesses that support the yoga lifestyle and that this is a good thing.
“Soon you will be seeing more information from Infinity Wellness, which I created when renovating the building back in 2017. Infinity Wellness owns the building that houses Yoga Life Studio, OM IV Hydration and Wellness, Spore Studios, Healing Waves, and Soul Deep Yoga Therapy.”
Margherone said the two-part expansion is about, first, bringing in additional wellness-based businesses that complement the work they already do. The second part is increasing education around wellness, yoga, and healthy lifestyles.
“My long term dream has always been for Infinity Wellness to be a Wellness Hub in the community where members can come to be educated and empowered, while connecting to other like-minded individuals.”
Margherone said she is currently developing programming through December of 2025 with experienced yoga teachers, yoga therapists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, wellness coaches, functional medicine practitioners, functional nutritionists, dietitians, reflexologists, acupuncturists, psychologists, and more.
Yoga Life Studio is located at 2629 Cleveland Ave, St Joseph.
