A winter weather advisory posted early today, Tuesday, March 5th, for Van Buren, Allegan and several other counties to the north and northeast of us is already having a bit of an impact on some schools in that region. The advisory is slated to remain in effect until 7pm tonight. It does not include Berrien or Cass Counties, but those areas are expected to continue to see lake effect snow showers throughout the course of the day.
