Whirlpool Establishes New Partner Relationship With The Walt Disney Company

Your next visit to Walt Disney World could well include familiar hometown products from Michigan’s Great Southwest thanks to a new relationship established today between Whirlpool Corporation and The Walt Disney Company which makes the Whirlpool brand the Official Kitchen & Laundry Appliance of Walt Disney World Resort Lake Buena Vista, Florida and the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California.

With the new relationship, Whirlpool brand’s innovative lines of kitchen and laundry products such as refrigerators, dishwashers, ovens, cooktops, microwave ovens, clothes washers and clothes dryers will now have a presence in select Disney Vacation Club Villas at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort. One bedroom or larger accommodations at Disney Vacation Club properties include full kitchens as well as clothes washers and dryers that help members feel at home while they experience a Disney vacation.

Whirlpool appliances will also be used to outfit the Culinary Stage for cooking demonstrations at the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival at Walt Disney World Resort and the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival at Disneyland Resort.

Additionally, Whirlpool will align with Disney Digital Network to create exciting custom food and cooking based content throughout Disney’s family of digital networks.
