The West Michigan Tourist Association is inviting the public to get involved in the next few days to vote on the Top 50 finalist photos in the West Michigan Photo Contest to help determine the winners.
WMTA says “Thank you to the hundreds of photographers who submitted photos in this year’s West Michigan photo contest. Of the over 1,800 photos submitted, we have narrowed it down to the top 50 photo finalists, and it’s up to the public to help choose our winners.”
The top 50 photo entries are posted in a photo album on the West Michigan Facebook page, also available at https://bit.ly/WestMIPhotoContest2021. One of the finalist photos was taken by area resident Bill Schalk, who you may remember as the longtime spokesperson for the Cook Nuclear Plant, now retired.
Visitors to the photo album may cast votes for any photos by “liking” or “reacting” to each photo. Votes may be cast for multiple photos.
The winners will be announced on Monday, August 16th.
