Water Street Glass Works is hosting its annual fall fundraiser today, Thursday, September 12
The Pumpkin Harvest Party Fall Fundraiser will also celebrate the company’s 20th anniversary. Instructor and production designer Eli Zilke says it will be a night with plenty of fun for everyone.
“We will have live demos, you can sign up via our website for a Design You Own Experience, where you work with our craftsmen to design a pumpkin and watch it being blown right in front of you.”
During the event from 5 to 8 p.m., Water Street Glass Works will unveil its 2024 Glass Pumpkin collection, which is said to be a bit different from past years.
“They’re different every year and they’re unique intentionally, so that you have to add to your collection. You’ve seen last year’s patch, you didn’t see this year’s patch.”
The evening will also feature a silent auction, glassblowing demonstrations, and light refreshments. All proceeds from the event will support Water Street Glass Works programming.
The business is located at 140 Water Street in the Benton Harbor Arts District.
