Watch as Lauren Vegter of Stevensville is crowned the 90th Miss Blossomtime

The 2023 Blossomtime Pageant court has been decided.

Miss Spirit Lauren Vegter, of Stevensville, was crowned Miss Blossomtime Monday night at the Miss Blossomtime Pageant at the Lake Michigan College Mendel Center in Benton Harbor.

“Oh my goodness,” said Vegter, moments after being crowned. “I’ve been dreaming about this since I was five years old. This is crazy to be Miss Blossomtime. Thank you so much to the judges for giving me this opportunity, and thank you to my friends and family for giving me support today and throughout this journey. Thank you to everybody here for giving support to everyone here, and thank you to my sisters – You guys are all amazing and you all did wonderful and I’m so excited for our year.”

Joining Vegter on this year’s court were;

  • 1st Runner Up: Miss Bridgman, Javen Graves
  • 2nd Runner Up: Miss St. Joseph – Olivia Ippel
  • Miss Congeniality: Miss Berrien Springs, Linda Klein

The top seven also included Miss Bloomingdale Angel Felty, Miss Niles Audrey Dixon and Miss Watervliet, Natalie Hart. Miss Three Oaks / River Valley Elizabeth Lumley was voted People’s Choice.

On Sunday, the Mr. Blossomtime courts were crowned:

  • Mr. Blossomtime – Karl Krause – Berrien Springs
  • 1st Runner Up Juswin Judge – St. Joseph
  • 2nd Runner Up Nolan Crandall – Bangor
  • Mr. Nice Guy Declan Finnigan – St. Joseph
