The Benton Harbor Public Library invites book lovers to a virtual author discussion with the daughter of Fannie Davis, a Detroit stay-at-home mother of five kids who ran a gambling and numbers racket from her kitchen table.
Fannie’s daughter, Bridgett M. Davis, wrote a compelling memoir about her mother, “The World According to Fannie Davis: My Mother’s Life in the Detroit Numbers,” which will be the featured topic at this author event at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 27.
Get your invitation to this virtual author event HERE. You’ll get an email link to join in the discussion.
You’re also invited to pick up a copy of the book at the BH Public Library.
