The best advice I’ve received has been to not be afraid of being afraid. Not letting fear hold me back has opened a lot of doors in my life that I would have otherwise passed up.
Who inspires you most?
Elsa Elsner, she is a family friend and was the first female engineer at Whirlpool. Elsa’s hard work and determination has been a positive female presence in my life.
That one thing about you we’d be most surprised to learn.
Monday- Friday I work at Corewell Health Lakeland as a RN Care Manager, and Saturday mornings I work at Amanda’s Bakeshop and Farmers Market in Eau Claire. This is my 5th season doing this and I absolutely love the change of pace. If I hadn’t become a nurse, I wanted to have a bakery. This way I get to do both!

What Superpower would you most love to have? (for example, the ability to fly or to be invisible, or incredible strength, etc)
Teleportation for efficiency and to save time.
What would you like to leave behind as your legacy once you are gone?
I would like to be remembered for my generosity, but more importantly, my generosity in giving my time and attention to the people that I care about.
What does the honor of being named to the 40 Under 40 most mean to you?
Being named to the 40 Under 40 means to me that I have made a difference, and that those around me have recognized my passion and community contributions. I am honored that my actions have inspired others.
