United Federal Credit Union named among “Top 100 Workplaces in North America”

The Inspiring Workplaces Group (IWG) has named Southwest Michigan-based United Federal Credit Union one of the 2024 Top 100 Workplaces in North America.

According to IWG, the recognition honors organizations that, “excel in fostering a positive work environment through exceptional leadership, wellbeing initiatives, inclusi9vity, and a strong sense of purpose.”

According to IWG, judges rank organizations on six key elements, including: culture and purpose, leadership, wellbeing, inclusion, employee voice, and employee experience. According to the announcement, United Federal Credit Union has the distinction of being the only credit union selected, and one of only four financial institutions.

The recognizing organization stated, “United Federal Credit Union, your dedication to cultivating a workplace that genuinely embodies the spirit of ‘people helping people’ is both admirable and inspiring. Your submission showcases a well-rounded and deeply thoughtful approach to creating a culture where every member of the team feels valued, heard, and empowered to grow.”

The credit union’s HR leader said being included in this list highlights United’s dedication to its team, its members, and the communities it serves.
