Twin City Players to Honor Its Own With ‘Tiffany Awards’ August 13

Twin City Players will host its 34th Annual Tiffany Awards celebration on Saturday, August 13, 2022. The annual Tiffany Awards will recognize the performances and achievements of its members and volunteers from the 2021-2022 season. Shows included are The Women of Lockerbie, Fun Home, The Haunting of Hill House, Elf the Musical, Silent Sky, Angel Street/Gaslight, and Disney’s The Little Mermaid.

Dinner and cash bar will begin at 5 pm, followed by the award ceremony at 7 pm. This year’s “Backyard BBQ Party” theme encourages guests to dress in their most comfortable, casual attire and dinner includes southern-style smoked meats from Piggin’ N’ Grinnin’. A cash bar will be available throughout the evening.

Masks are required for the indoor portion of the evening.

$15 for members & 12 and under and $20 for nonmembers. Tickets can be purchased online at twincityplayers.org beginning July 13. Deadline to purchase tickets is August 6. Pre-purchase is required for dinner, no walk-ups will be accepted for the dinner portion of the evening. This event is not eligible for Flex Passes and tickets are non-refundable. Seating is limited.

Admission to the award ceremony only portion of the evening may be available at 7 pm the day of the event, depending on seat availability (pricing remains the same – cash/check only at the door).

The Tiffany Awards are named after the late Marion Tiffany, an actress, volunteer, and charter member of Twin City Players. Candidates are nominated to ten different categories, including leading actress, supporting actor, and more from the season’s mainstage shows. A secret panel of judges selects each year’s winners. Backstage and volunteer contributions are also recognized with various special awards.
