Twin City Players will hold Auditions for the opening show of its 91st Season, the dramatic comedy mystery, Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express, adapted for the stage by Ken Ludwig.
Auditions are scheduled for Sunday, July 9 at 2 pm and Monday, July 10 at 7 pm, in the Studio at Twin City Players, located at 600 West Glenlord Road, St. Joseph, Michigan 49085. John Taylor directs the production.
The exotic Orient Express is about to go off the rails. With a train full of remarkable suspects and an alibi for each one, it’s the perfect mystery for famed detective Hercule Poirot. Just after midnight, a snowdrift stopped the Orient Express in its tracks. The next morning, an American tycoon lies dead in his compartment, stabbed, his door locked from the inside. Isolated with a killer in their midst, the passengers rely on Poirot to identify the murderer before they strike again.
A list of cast/characters needed and additional information to prepare for auditions is available on the TCP audition page at www.twincityplayers.org. All ethnicities are encouraged to audition. For questions, please contact the director at tayloj3@gmail.com.
Show dates are September 8 – 24, 2023, Friday & Saturday at 7:30 pm and Sunday at 2 pm. Tickets will be available August 1. Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French, Inc. www.concordtheatricals.com.
