What Does Your Company/Organization Do? The South Haven/Van Buren County Convention & Visitors Bureau promotes South Haven and Van Buren County as top Midwest travel destinations. We attract visitors by highlighting the area’s attractions, events, and unique experiences through strategic marketing and community engagement. Our goal is to boost tourism and support local businesses by showcasing the best our region has to offer. As digital media manager, my job is creating the foundation for a streamlined digital infrastructure, and producing editorial & social media content.

Mr. Hartford & 2nd Runner Up Blossomtime, 2009 Youngest member of the South Haven Theatre Series A decade of summers making friends and lasting connections at the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in Manchester, TN.

What else do you hope to accomplish by the age of 40? I would like to publish a collection of short stories.

What was your first job? Grocery Bagger at Harding’s Friendly Market.

What motivates you to give back to your community? I’m motivated to give back to my community because I see it as a collective responsibility to nurture and enhance the vibrant, interconnected network we’ve built over generations. Surrounded by passionate individuals, dynamic businesses, and thriving nonprofits, I feel a profound sense of stewardship. I aspire to be one of the “Helpers” Mr. Rogers spoke of—dedicated to supporting and empowering others to reach their full potential and contribute to a thriving, inclusive community.

What Superpower would you most love to have? Dr. Dolittle is a superhero in my book, I want to talk with the animals.

What would you like to leave behind as your legacy once you are gone? I’d like to leave a legacy where transformative experiences blend environmental stewardship, mental health, and literacy into a trifecta for success in life. My vision is to create and support programs in Michigan that seamlessly integrate these elements into events that empower individuals to care for the planet, nurture their well-being, and embrace lifelong learning.

What does the honor of being named to the 40 Under 40 most mean to you? Being named to the 40 Under 40 list means a great deal to me. It’s incredibly rewarding to be recognized for being myself, especially when I least expected it. I feel truly blessed by this honor. I am also deeply grateful for the support of my loving parents, who have always been a source of pride and encouragement as I continue to strive & thrive in my third decade!
