It will be a night of unscripted shenanigans during the next TORP Improv Comedy Night on Friday, June 14, 7 p.m. at The Oak Room at the Citadel in Benton Harbor.
High jinks and spontaneous antics ensue when these quick-witted improv-pranksters make stuff up on the spot in a spirited 90-minute performance that gets everyone involved. Each show is based on audience suggestions, making every performance fresh and unpredictable.
The Oak Room at The Citadel is located in the heart of the Benton Harbor Arts District at 91 Hinkley St. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with $5 wine and beer available. Cash bar net proceeds benefit the Citadel Dance and Music Center. ABOUT TORP AND THE PLAYERS
TORP began its reign of improvisational comedic revelry in 2011. The troupe has been causing fits of laughter while entertaining at charity events and public performances throughout southwest Michigan including for Lory’s Place, the Morton House, The Mendel Center’s Living Room Series, the Lake Michigan College Hospitality and Fine Arts programs, One Hundred Women Strong, and more. They are the house comedy troupe of The Oak Room at the Citadel in the Benton Harbor Arts District.
