Just in time for your summer picnic table, backyard party, or any other fine occasion, the folks at Tabor Hill Winery have announced the addition of a Blueberry Demi-Sec to their extensive wine list and the Demi-Sec family of wines.
The destination winery and restaurant located in the heart of Southwest Michigan, has announced that they are adding a Blueberry Demi-Sec to their lineup. Their proprietary blend is a semi-dry wine and has a 3.2 pH, 12-percent alcohol by volume (ABV), and 5.5-percent residual sugars. It will be sold at the Tabor Hill Winery & Restaurant, the Tasting Room in Bridgman, and online at http://taborhill.com.
To craft their new Blueberry Demi-Sec, the Tabor Hill Winery team blended fresh Michigan blueberries with their best-selling Classic Demi-Sec. The new wine was crafted to be “smooth, sippable, and refreshing,” and pairs well with fresh fruits, BBQ chicken, and charcuterie.

They will often conduct focus groups to get first-hand perspectives to inform their wine development and ensure they’re catering to rising trends in the region. The timing for the launch of the Blueberry Demi-Sec caters to the increasingly warm weather and consumers’ desire to have a lighter, drinkable wine for the summer months.
Matthew Moersch, CEO & Partner of Moersch Hospitality Group, says, “We have no doubt that the Blueberry Demi-Sec will be an excellent addition to our Michigan Demi Sec series, which was developed by my father, and we’re excited to expand that legacy with this latest addition.” He adds, “The classic and sparkling Demis have been widely popular with our audience for their light and crisp flavor – and the Blueberry Demi-Sec will offer that same great experience with some added sweetness from the fruit. Just like the Classic Demi-Red and Demi-Sec that came before this one, we’re confident that this will be another best seller.”
