SWM Manufacturers Invited to Aerospace Industry Forum Ripe With Opportunities

Manufacturers in Michigan’s Great Southwest are being afforded a unique opportunity and essentially a front row seat to learn more about the rapid growth of the aerospace industry in Michigan this week with a mid-day session in Kalamazoo.

The Aerospace Industry Association of Michigan’s Board of Directors and other industry experts will be on hand at this week’s luncheon session to discuss the unprecedented growth taking place in the aerospace industry with developing supply chain and innovation opportunities. The event  this Wednesday, October 31st, will take place at the Catalyst Center in Kalamazoo from 11:00am-until-2:00pm.

Tony Vernaci is President & Founder of the Aerospace Industry Association of Michigan. He says, “Michigan’s dominant aerospace supply chain sector must be informed on a regular basis of the latest developments to keep pace with industry demands.” He adds, “We are hosting this event in hopes of not only providing a networking opportunity, but to also stress the importance of innovation in the supply chain.”

Wednesday’s event will kick-off with a networking session and move into lunch, coupled with guest speakers from the industry and presentations. There will be a Q&A with board members of the aerospace association, as well as other subject matter experts, and that Q&A is open to everyone in attendance. The program will conclude with an opportunity for follow-up networking and closing remarks.

Board member companies on hand to answer questions and provide valuable insight will include:

  • Eaton Aerospace
  • Wineman Technology
  • GE Aviation
  • Woodward
  • RCO Aerospace

Each company represented brings something different to the table, with each playing a key role in the industry, affording them the chance to offer answers to a variety of questions.

The Aerospace Industry Association of Michigan organized the event as a platform to help companies in the aerospace industry discover opportunities and expand their business.
