Studio Dance Theatre presents Cinderella performances benefiting Lory’s Place

An elegant ball, a fairy godmother, evil step sisters, and a magnificent prince… it’s Cinderella and the classic story will be presented through dance by the Studio Dance Theatre, benefiting Lory’s Place of St. Joseph.

The Studio Dance Theatre will be presenting Cinderella on March 22, at 3 and 7 pm at the Lakeshore High School Community Auditorium. This show will benefit Lory’s Place of St. Joseph.

Tickets are available for advance purchase by calling Dance Arts 269.429.5711, or at the door 30 minutes before the showtimes. Tickets are available for Children (12 & under) $8,  and Adults for $15. For groups of 20 or more, please call Dance Arts to make arrangements.

A coloring contest is also being held to win tickets. Coloring sheets may be picked up at participating libraries starting March 1 or at Dance Arts in Stevensville. There will be winners selected in three age categories — up to 5 year, 6 to 9 years, and 10 to 13 years old.

The Studio Dance Theatre was founded in 1975 by Rhonda Rabbers and is open by audition to all experienced dancers. Its three-fold purpose is to educate serious young dancers, provide the community with a dance company to present concerts locally, and make an annual contribution to a local charity. The company consists of 50 talented dancers from all over southwest Michigan.
