Y Country’s two-day St. Jude Radiothon was a success last week. Y Country’s Jonny Reinhardt tells us they raised over $47,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
“Everybody that was involved was awesome on air and off air, so it was just really a great year,” Reinhardt says. “It’s a great thing to do every single year and I look forward to what’s to come for the possibilities for next year.”
Each dollar helps ensure families at St. Jude never receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing, or food. Over 100 people signed up to become Partners in Hope over the two days.
In the last 20 years, Y Country has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for St. Jude, including over $45,000 just last year. Reinhardt says serving the community is what they’re all about on Y Country and this is another way of doing it.
