Coming back for the season next weekend will be the St. Joseph Farmers Market. St. Joseph Today’s Daniele Crevier tells us the event will take place Saturday, May 27 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The markets will feature 25 to 30 vendors each Saturday through mid-October.
“You can find quite the variety of local produce, we’ve got baked goods, we’ve got coffee, cheese, a knife sharpener, some new vendors this year that we’re really excited about,” Crevier said. “We’re just really happy to be kicking off the summer season soon.”
Crevier says the demand for fresh, locally sourced produce and goods has increased in recent years. St. Joseph Today will host Artisan Fairs during four of the Farmers Markets throughout the summer. Those will feature expanded hours. In addition to the weekly Farmers Market, everyone is also invited to check out the new Wednesday Night Market, which will be held on Wednesdays, May 31 through August 30 from 4 to 8 in Court Place Plaza.
