Those in search of the Holy Grail of antiques can take another run at it when St. Joseph Today kicks off the Antiques on the Bluff season on the first Sunday of the month beginning in May and continuing each first Sunday through October.
Traditionally considered to be the “premier place to find antiques and collectibles,” Antiques on the Bluff makes a triumphant return on May 2nd from 10am until 5pm in tree-lined Lake Bluff Park overlooking the waters of Lake Michigan in the City of St. Joseph.
The popular annual series welcome vendors from far and wide, and in fact, Amy Zapal, Executive Director of St. Joseph Today says they are taking vendor registrations right now. She notes, “Although there are dozens of booths, remaining space is limited.” She adds, “This is a particularly good year to participate since two of the six Sundays fall on major holiday weekends.” Show dates this year are:
- May 2nd
- June 6th
- July 4th]
- August 1st
- September 5th
- October 3rd
Zapal says merchandise is limited to antiques, vintage and collectibles. Reproductions, modern crafts and new merchandise are not allowed into the show. She has asked that interested vedors contact Events & Operation Manager Daniele at (269) 985-1111 or by email at daniele@stjoetoday.com. Dealers may be asked to provide a photograph of representative merchandise before a booth area is assigned to them. They also will need a Michigan Sales Tax ID to participate. Information about obtaining a tax ID is available online at http://www.Michigan.gov/taxes. For more information on becoming a vendor, visit this link: http://stjoetoday.com/antiques.
While in and around St. Joe, Zapal encourages visitors to eat, shop, stay and play, while supporting Southwest Michigan businesses and restaurants during their Countdown to Summer for a chance to win weekly prizes. She adds, “We’re gearing up for sunshine and warmer days here in Michigan’s Great Southwest. Countdown to Summer is a great way to support local southwest Michigan businesses and restaurants during the winter and spring seasons.”
For every $25 spent (either one-time or cumulatively through purchases) you will receive one entry. Qualifying purchases must be made at a St. Joseph Today member location through May 26th, 2021. One winner is drawn weekly from now through May 27th, and winners will receive a $50 gift certificate from various members of St. Joseph Today.
To receive an entry form, simply present your receipt(s) or purchases to a St. Joe Today staff member at the Welcome Center located in downtown St. Joseph. More info is available at this link: http://stjoetoday.com/countdown
