St. Joe Farmers Market Returns May 28

Market-goers will enjoy fresh finds at the weekly St. Joe Farmers Market held in scenic Lake Bluff Park in downtown St. Joseph. The 2022 St. Joe Farmers Market season kicks off Saturday, May 28 from 9:00a– 2:00p and includes a variety of products such as baked goods, locally grown produce, perennials and cut flowers, meats and cheeses, coffee and more.

Amy Zapal, executive director of St. Joe Today said, “We are excited to work with local growers to spotlight the amazing produce coming from our region’s spectacular farms. This year we’re looking forward to welcoming a few new vendors to the market!”

Farmers Markets have grown in popularity as the demand for fresh, locally sourced produce and goods has increased. Zapal said, “Take the time to chat with vendors who will share recipes, planting recommendations and cooking tips.” The Farmers Market will be open Saturdays, May 28 through October 8 from 9:00a-2:00p and is held in Lake Bluff Park, between Broad and Pleasant Streets.

Shoppers will enjoy extended market hours, 9:00a – 5:00p, on June 4, July 16, August 20 and September 3 in conjunction with the Lake Bluff Artisan Fair which will be to the south of the St. Joe Farmers Market. For a list of vendors and dates, visit stjoetoday.com/farmersmarket.
