Berrien Springs clients of the St. Joseph accounting firm of CooperBoettger, PLLC have just closed the gap nicely for dealing with their accountants thanks to a newly established Berrien Springs office — their third.
Principles Linda Cooper and Sheila Boettger continue to grow their firm and wanted to provide easier access to their central county clientele by setting up business at a satellite office on West Ferry Street in Berrien Springs.
Cooper tells me, “We have added this office because we feel there is a lot of opportunity for growth in this area. We currently have clients in Berrien Springs that we have serviced through our St. Joseph office<” and this will make their business encounters more efficient. She adds, “Our focus is on client service. We try to fit the needs of every client. We support established businesses as well as those just starting up.”
CooperBoettger was first launched in the summer of 2015 with a staff of six and headquarters operations at 2920 Division Street in Southtown St. Joseph. They simultaneously established a beach head in Lansing at that time, and continue to grow that office as well.
The new Berrien Springs office for CooperBoettger took flight last week on January 18th and is anchored at 102 West Ferry Street in the village. The phone number there is 269-409-4295, and the firm offers a full range of accounting services there and at all offices. Those services include tax preparation and tax planning for businesses, individuals, trusts and estates, payroll, property, gift and non- profit.
The accounting agency also prepares financial statements, and provides accounting services as well. They provide QuickBooks services including bookkeeping, accounting, installation, training and review of current systems and payroll, as well as IRS, state and local representation including correspondence, installment agreements, Offer in Compromise, and assistance with attaining uncollectible status. Business consulting and succession planning are also services they provide.
Cooper and Boettger began their business in July of 2015 with their staff of six, and have currently added two CPAs. Mark Giffels and Heather Boettger are new additions to the staff. Those who began with the firm and are still working there include Amanda Henderson, Jackie Hendrix, Dennis Shea, and Erik Hermann.
Cooper says they are accepting new clients in all offices, and provide a complimentary initial meeting to anyone interested in engaging their business.
