The annual Spring Book Sale at the St. Joseph / Maud Preston Palenske Memorial Library takes place this week, beginning Thursday, April 21st through Saturday, April 23rd.
Hosted by the ‘Friends of the Library’, the proceeds from this sale will help fund the library however it is needed, while demonstrating how it is such an important resource to the community of St. Joseph. The Friends of the Library are library advocates, spreading the word about events and happenings, while also providing financial support. For the many years this non-profit group of volunteers has existed, their monetary donations have helped fund programming, building renovations, an outdoor sign, and technology improvements.
Support the library and shop for an armful of books on Thursday from 10:30am – 6 pm, Friday from 10:30am – 5 pm, and Saturday from 10:30am – 2 pm (Saturday is bag sale day!). While you’re there, be sure to check out their “Wonderland” themed KitchenAid Stand Mixers on Parade display, which will be available for viewing until May 20th.
