If you have ever attended a formal (or informal, for that matter) ribbon cutting ceremony hosted by the crew at the Southwest Michigan Regional Chamber, you know that those occasions typically provide crystal clear, blue skies, colorful ribbons, a little bit of speechifying, and a whole lot of fun and celebration.
Today, the Chamber elected to do something even more fun and all-encompassing, by staging a “ribbon cutting” on the entire region. Chamber Regional Director Sarah Spoonholtz ventured out to showcase the re-opening of Michigan’s Great Southwest with a unique video ceremony marking the occasion.
Businesses in the video include members of the Southwest Michigan Regional Chamber Board of Directors, the Greater Bridgman Area Chamber & Growth Alliance Board of Directors, Chamber Ambassadors, Chamber Members, and businesses that have been active on the Chamber’s Buy Local Berrien page on Facebook. They represent their respective communities of Bridgman, Stevensville, Berrien Springs/Oronoko Township, St. Joseph, Benton Harbor, and Coloma/Riverside.
