Access to the Lake Shore Drive area of South Haven will be by a circuitous route beginning early next Monday morning through Wednesday evening due to a sewer and water service project on North Shore Drive.
Officials from South Haven Public Works tell us that North Shore Drive in that city will be closed to thru traffic from Avery Street to South Street beginning at 7am on Monday, June 22nd, and won’t reopen until Wednesday evening at 5pm.
Contractors from Compton, Inc. will be removing asphalt and concrete at the project site and placing new sanitary sewer and water service lines for two residential lots to the south of Avery Street, forcing a detour as shown in the graphic accompanying this story on Moody on the Market.
Keep in mind that while not directly in the path of this detour, Monday is also the day for hydraulic maintenance on the nearby Dyckman Avenue Bridge over the Black River. Details on that were shared in this story:
