Naturally You Aesthetics Medical Spa raised $1000 for the Benton Harbor Soup Kitchen to support the organization’s mission of feeding the area’s homeless and food-insecure populations. The donation was presented last month during a volunteer day where Naturally You’s team and their families served meals and shared meaningful moments with approximately 80 individuals in need.
“We were so touched by the outpouring of generosity from our community,” said Tatiyana Stankovic, co-owner of Naturally You. “Every donation, no matter the size, contributed to a significant impact. Presenting the check and connecting with those we served made this experience deeply meaningful for our entire team.”
A group of 11 volunteers, including five staff members and their friends and family, spent the day helping prepare and serve meals at The Soup Kitchen. They also shared conversations and laughter with those they served, creating a sense of connection and hope.
“Talking with everyone and hearing their stories was healing for all of us,” added Kimberly Leonor, co-owner of Naturally You. “Too often, people experiencing homelessness are overlooked. Just taking the time to listen and share a moment can make such a difference.”
Naturally You is committed to continuing its support for local non-profits, including future collaborations with the Soup Kitchen. “This is just the beginning,” Stankovic said. “We look forward to finding more opportunities to make a difference.”
