The Small Business Association of Michigan’s Small Biz PAC has announced its initial candidate endorsements for the Michigan House of Representatives.
House candidates receiving an endorsement include Representative Brad Paquette (R-37th District) and Representative Pauline Wendzel (R-39th District).
“The success of our economy and local communities is dependent on the role small businesses play,” said SBAM President and CEO Brian Calley. “Michigan needs leaders in Lansing who will listen and advocate for small businesses and that is why the Small Biz PAC has endorsed these candidates today.”
Absent from the endorsement announcement is Representative Joey Andrews (D-38th District). We reached out to the organization to ask why that was the case and we’re waiting to hear back.
In its initial statement, the Small Biz PAC group says it will continue to evaluate and endorse candidates throughout the election cycle as deemed necessary.
The Small Biz PAC is the political action committee of the Small Business Association of Michigan and says it endorses candidates, regardless of political party, who have demonstrated support for Michigan’s small business community.
