SHOUT for South Haven is seeking volunteers for its latest project. It says with the drawbridge’s flowers now fading due to the coming of winter, it’s inviting volunteers of all kinds to come and help remove the flowers and dirt from the planters. In the spring, volunteers plant the flowers each year. SHOUT says those who wish to help with removing them can come this Tuesday at 9 a.m. Be sure to bring some gloves, protective eye wear, and a trowel if you have one. City staff will be there with the Big Michigan Loader to haul the dirt away. That volunteer opportunity is Tuesday only.
