As conditions continue to deteriorate across Michigan’s Great Southwest with the number of closings and cancellations increasing exponentially, the Berrien County Sheriff’s Department is out with a special announcement:

“Sheriff Paul Bailey is declaring a road emergency due to the emergency snow conditions impacting travel throughout Berrien County. Residents are requested to stay off roadways when possible to allow snow removal crews to safely clear the roadways.

All State of Michigan offices have been closed across the entire lower peninsula today, Van Buren County offices have been closed along with those throughout Berrien County. Most school districts across the region cancelled classes last night, and many other churches, organizations, retailers, offices, Celebration!
