What else do you hope to accomplish by the age of 40?
Continue building for the future and working with our team of doctors and staff at GLSC and GLEC. I’m thankful for the opportunity to be in the leadership position I am today. Spend time with my family and friends. Investing time into raising and loving my kids. Visit all 50 states (only 4 to go!)

Who inspires you most?
People around me that push through against all odds. The little and big acts of kindness others give. People who do the hard things. Hard work and grit, teamwork, faith, and hope.

I played college soccer
What do you love to do in your downtime?
Spend time with family and friends, read, travel, soccer, beach and Lake Michigan life, being outdoors.

“Make it Stick: The Science of Successful Learning”

Surgical assisting with Vision Outreach International semi annual mission trips abroad.
What motivates you to give back to your community?
Helping others and paying if forward.
What Superpower would you most love to have? (for example, the ability to fly or to be invisible, or incredible strength, etc)
Teleportation. I never feel like there are enough hours in the day for a working mom!
What would you like to leave behind as your legacy once you are gone?
Strong, caring, loving sons. Building a team that is so strong, you don’t know who the boss is. A system for caring for the blind.
What does the honor of being named to the 40 Under 40 most mean to you?
I am honored to be considered a part of this group of men and women being recognized this year. I am fortunate to work in a community that has made a huge impact on who I am as a person and live in a community that cares so much about each of its members. This honor is reflective of the great team that I am blessed to be a part of.
