I feel to be BOLD you have to not be afraid to step out of the box and once you do, you need to smash that box and set it on fire and use the heat to stay warm while you map out your next BOLD MOVES!

Please provide an example of when you feel you were at your very best in taking action on the job or in your role.
I feel it’s NOW. One year in and I finally feel a “calm” some form of :”routine” and the stress has dropped down a level.
What’s the funniest thing that ever happened on your road to success?
Funniest and also unbelievable! We made an offer of $100.00 to buy a 120 year old Carnegie Library and the City of Niles accepted it and it was the first road to many roads of our journey.
Who most inspires your personal drive for success every day?
My husband!
What is your best advice to women in Southwest Michigan looking to succeed, as you have, in business?
Don’t listen to OUTSIDE NOISE! Listen to your gut and also your heart but always remember to take your brain with you. You will need all three (3) of them in order to accomplish your dream.

I’m so honored. To know that our banker ( 1st Source Bank) nominated me for this award just truly makes my heart smile. They believe in me and Karl and they have seen first-hand the strength, determination and non-stop energy that we have put into these two businesses.
