SBJ Studios in St. Joseph is planning to break a record this coming Memorial Day weekend with a 25 hour photoshoot. The studio told us more:
Last year, local photography studio SBJ Studios set a world record Memorial Day weekend by completing a continuous 24 hour photoshoot. Within the last year, the studio has found an audience of over 25 million people with over 100 million video views on their Facebook page. However, that isn’t enough. Now, SBJ Studios wants to break their own world record. Starting at 8am May 28th to 9am May 30th, SBJ Studios will be hosting a 25 hour photoshoot broken up into half hour timeslots.
“Over the last year our Fire and Smoke shoots have reached a global audience, our Facebook page has grown by 20 times over and we have been hired to travel the country to do shoots. Through all that, our proudest moment was setting the world record last year and now we want to beat it,” SBJ Studios owner, Josh Fairbanks, said.
Fairbanks is going to be partnering with other small businesses to promote them during the entirety of the event. Working with clients throughout the complete 24 hour window is going to be an interesting feat. Fairbanks remarked, “those late late/early early hours, between 2am and 5am last year, were the most interesting and challenging times. In those moments, you find a new sense of persistence and creativity.”
