The owners and founders of Harbor Country’s Molino Tortilleria are expanding again, this time getting back to their Chicago roots as newly accepted vendors in Chicago’s Logan Square Farmers Market for 2021.
Christie and Aaron Harris, who have grown Molino Tortilleria into a powerhouse both online and in the Harbor Country community of Sawyer after their humble beginnings at the St. Joseph Farmers Market, have announced their acceptance into the fold at the Logan Square Farmers Market which is huge for them because they used to live in the Logan Square neighborhood before moving to Michigan’s Great Southwest in 2017.
That means that Chicago fans who have discovered the team from Molino either in their opening year at the St. Joe Farmers Market or at their shop in downtown Sawyer since they established that base of operations, will now find them at Logan Square every other Sunday beginning on May 16th.
The Logan Square Farmers Market was tabbed by the Best of Chicago last year as the Best Farmers Market in the entire Chicagoland area.
Molino will offer their signature heirloom corn tortillas, fresh stone-ground masa, house-made salsas, pan dulce and more at Logan Square on these dates this year:
- May 16th and 30th
- June 13th and 27th
- July 11th and 25th
- August 8th and 22nd
- September 5th and 19th
- October 3rd, 17th and 31st
Aaron Harris dispatched the news to email subscribers of Molino, saying, “We have so many great memories of our time living in Logan Square and we can’t wait to get back and make more.”
