Round Barn to Host Fruits of Labor Celebration

When you work hard, you should also play hard. With that concept in mind, the Round Barn family of Southwest Michigan is working overtime on plans for their Fruits of Labor Party for the upcoming Labor Day weekend.

The Moersch family, owners and operators of Round Barn Winery, Distillery & Brewery well known for weekly celebrations featuring local wines, craft beers and cocktails accompanied by lively musical performances, will host one of the biggest parties of the holiday weekend ahead when they mark the occasion with an end-of-summer party unlike any other in Michigan. From those great libations to live music and a week later an end of summer car show, the plans have been advancing and they’re ready to welcome you with open arms.

Send off summer with a host of friends and fun at the Fruits of Labor Party on Saturday and Sunday of the Labor Day weekend from 1pm to 7pm both days.

It’s your chance to take a well-deserved break of your own and let Round Barn do all the work. Enjoy the fruits of their labor over the long holiday weekend. The only work you have to do is to find your favorite specialty cocktail, wine or craft brew while live bands will be clocking in for your entertainment.

Drink specials and delicious fare from the Round Barn food trailer will be offered, and you can bring the whole family and enjoy the bounce house, inflatable slide and yard games.

These are the Saturday Bands:

  • 1PM ET: Popcult Party
  • 4PM ET:Top Secret Band

These are the Sunday Bands:

  • 1 PM ET: War & Treaty
  •  4PM ET: Slim Gypsy Baggage

There is a $5 cover charge, however that will be waived for those experiencing a wine tasting. Lawn chairs and sun umbrellas or tents are encouraged, however outside food and drinks are not permitted. Keep in mind, too, that Round Barn is kid and dog-friendly year-round.

But the fun’s not over once Labor Day has passed. In fact, you are invited to check out the Fast & Curious –Vineyard Sports Car Show on Saturday, September 9th from 1PM – 7PM. That revved-up event will feature dozens of American and Foreign Sports Cars displayed along their beautiful rolling vineyard. Grab your friends, kids, and/or parents and feed your curiosity by viewing the amazing variety of cars that are sure to put a gleam in your eye. You can get lost in garage talk with car owners while high-energy live music adds to the coolness of the event. Make it an afternoon with delicious lunch options from the Round Barn Food Truck and of course, hand-crafted Round Barn libations; wine, craft beer & cocktails too.

The band line-up for the Fast & Curious show includes:

  • 1:00 PM ET–The Highsteppin’ Playboys
  • 4:00 PM ET–Diamondback

As with the Labor Day weekend, there is a $5 cover charge, which will be waived for those experiencing a wine tasting.

Keep in mind, too that Round Barn’s Jammin’ in the Vineyard, weekend series every Saturday & Sunday + Labor Day runs throughout the month of October.  Every weekend, Round Barn invites guests to come hang out in the vineyard and jam during one of the biggest concert series in the area. Round Barn has been rocking and will rock for a total of 24 weekends of fantastic live entertainment.

Guests enjoy world-class wines, spirits and craft-brews while musicians from around the Midwest rock out in the open-air stage adjacent to the Beer Garden. Always complimenting that impressive lineup are delicious offerings at The Round Barn Food Truck helping you to complete a perfect vineyard picnic.
