A ribbon cutting and celebration of a brand new St .Joseph location for Sturgis Bank is planned for this Thursday. The community is invited to come out at 2 p.m. to 3125 Cleveland Avenue to see the new banking center. Sturgis Bank has released the following:
The St. Joseph Banking Center of Sturgis Bank is excited to announce their second official ribbon cutting this year, the celebration of the newest St. Joseph Banking Center located at 3125 Cleveland Avenue, St Joseph, MI. This event will be hosted by the Chamber of Commerce this Thursday, September 16th at 2:00pm.
Bob Burch, Community President said “We are excited to be able to offer the community a second location for their banking needs. I am confident that our experienced team is prepared to service our community at a superior level.”
The building went unoccupied for quite some time. The facility was purchased in August 2020 and after a year of hard work, nonstop efforts of the staff, hiring and training of the new hires the second St. Joseph Banking Center was able to finally open early May of this year. The delays of COVID-19 while operating a business and managing an entire remodel didn’t go without its challenges. We feel so fortunate to have brought on such great experienced talent to our Cleveland Avenue branch including Nick Barber, Banking Center Manager; Cindy Stovern, Mortgage Loan Officer; Olivia Nichols, Community Outreach Liaison; Lucas Rogers, Universal Banker and Cassie Purdum, Universal Banker.
