Berrien RESA is making a new effort to reach out to the community so everyone knows about the services it provides. Superintendent Eric Hoppstock tells us they’ve launched a new, more user-friendly website, and they have unveiled a new logo. It features a pinwheel to symbolize the three pillars of the RESA mission.
“Optimize, collaborate, transform,” Hoppstock said. “Transform is where that pinwheel starts. It’s clean, it’s fresh, so we are changing signage. So, if you see a RESA van, you’ll notice that logo looks different now.”
Hoppstock says RESA is also launching a new radio segment, set to air on WSJM each Thursday at 7 a.m. It will feature himself and WSJM’s Jonny Reinhart talking about everything RESA does.
“It will go over all kinds of things. It will be diverse. The very first session will be What is RESA? So, you’ll learn more, but then it will go on and we’ll have various topics every week throughout the upcoming year.”
Hoppstock says the radio segment will spread that message every Thursday, starting next week and continuing through the end of the year. He says RESA’s new mission statement is, “Optimizing student outcomes through collaboration and transformation.”
