Berrien RESA will hold its biennial board of education elections next month. There are three candidates running for the board. They are Dave Pagel of Berrien Springs, who is seeking a two year term, and Jackie Van Horn of Stevensville and John Proos of St. Joseph, both seeking six year terms. There are three seats available. School boards throughout Berrien County will vote in the next few weeks to make their picks, and then each will send a delegate to RESA on June 5 for the election to cast their votes. With three candidates and three seats open, it’s likely the three who will be elected are Dave Pagel, Jackie Van Horn, and John Proos. In July, the RESA Board of Education will hold an organizational meeting to selects its officers, including president. The current president is Dave Pagel.
