Renowned Coach Who Works With Tom Brady Hosts Super Camp in Paw Paw

Local student athletes in Michigan’s Great Southwest have a truly unique opportunity this weekend when a renowned former major league pitcher and coach hosts a three-day Super Camp in Paw Paw. A coach who currently works with both of the starting quarterbacks from this month’s Super Bowl in Atlanta.

Tom House, former major league pitcher and coach, is also founder of the National Pitching Association. He is coming to Performance FieldHouse in Paw Paw, where he will conduct a three day Super Camp, beginning on Friday, February 15th and running through Sunday, February 17th.

The Super Camp is for baseball and softball pitchers and football quarterbacks. The camp includes a lecture on the science behind his program and two days of STAT testing (Screen-Test=Assess-Train) where local student athletes from age 8 and up will be evaluated on functional strength and mechanics, and then given specific drills in order to improve their skills in a healthy way.

Mark Lipson is the owner at Performance FieldHouse. He says, “This camp is an amazing opportunity for the area’s young athletes. Coach House currently works with such professional athletes as Tom Brady and Jared Goff of Super Bowl fame. We are so pleased to have him coming to Performance FieldHouse.” Lipson notes, “His other camps coming up are in the areas of Boston, Seattle and Los Angeles, so for him to come to Southwest Michigan is a great honor for the area.”

Performance FieldHouse is Lipson’s athletic training and practice facility located in Paw Paw, with a new building for indoor training that opened in November of last year (2018).  The facility has two side-by-side basketball courts, which are lined for basketball, volleyball and pickleball.  Performance FieldHouse provides indoor space for practices and games for those sports as well as baseball and softball, and has hosted baton twirling and dance.  It also offers martial arts and group exercise classes.  Youth travel organizations find it an optimum place to get in their work.
