Radio Harbor Country Unveils New Studio in Sawyer with Chamber Open House

Radio Harbor Country will officially open their new broadcast facility at 12291 N Red Arrow Hwy, Sawyer on Wednesday, April 27 at 4 pm.   The community is invited to a ribbon cutting ceremony performed by the Harbor Country Chamber of Commerce and an open house to follow.

The radio station will also have a remembrance for Stan Sabal, one of the original show hosts, who passed away in January. In addition to having a weekly show for 16 years, many in the community knew Stan who enjoyed working at Meijer in Stevensville.

Radio Harbor Country first aired in 2006 from a studio in Three Oaks. The non-profit, non-commercial, low power community radio station serves the Harbor Country® area. Now in their 17th year, Radio Harbor Country manages two FM radio signals: WRHC-LP (106.7fm) transmitting from Three Oaks and WRHZ-LP (93.5fm) transmitting from Sawyer. The programs feature music of all genres along with interviews, community announcements and talk radio.
