Preparations are well underway for this August’s Berrien County Youth Fair.
The fair will be held August 12 to August 17, with the theme of “Explore Planet Fair.” Each night will feature grandstand performances, tractor pulls, a circus, and fun for the entire family.
Berrien County Youth Fair Marketing and Sponsorship coordinator Jill Hein says this year’s fair will be similar to years past, but new is a inflatable planetarium.
This year’s grandstand performances include singer Randy Houser, a demolition derby, Bullmania, and Circus Continental, and more.
Fair manager Karen Klug says the fair is unique and they always try to make it a good family environment.
“The thing that’s unique about our fair is that it’s a youth fair,” Klug said. “Our exhibitors are all between the ages of 5 and 20. Our fair does not have any alcohol or games of chance. It creates a good family environment and see all of the talents of our youth.”
Wristband vouchers have gone on sale starting July 8 through August 9 for $27. During the fair, wristbands will be $32 at the door.
