Outside of my banking career I’m a proud husband to my wife Kirsten Swem and father to my three children Natalie (8), Scarlett (6), & Theodore (4). I am proud to be a dedicated Buchanan Buck and serving my community across various organizations that allow me to impact Buchanan is important to me. I serve on the Buchanan Chamber of Commerce, Michigan Gateway Community Foundation/Buchanan Promise Boards, and am currently seeking my second four year term on the Buchanan City Commission.

What motivates you to give back to your community? A legacy of servant leadership that impacted me over the years that I want my children to see and find value in for their own legacies.

What would you like to leave behind as your legacy once you are gone? That story is still writing itself, but one that starts with he was a good and honest man.
