When the team here at Moody on the Market debuted the new Bold Women of Business Award late last winter, the inaugural run was record-setting. Nearly 90 nominations rolled in from across the Tri-County region of Berrien, Cass and Van Buren Counties, despite the fact that only 20 women would be cited in the prestigious new offer.
Our decision to honor the generations of trailblazing women who have built our region, shaped our progress, and strengthened our character as a collective community was extremely well received.
That new award from our heritage award series, allowed Moody on the Market to recognize 20 of the most outstanding Bold Women of Business in Michigan’s Great Southwest for 2021.
Made possible by the underwriting sponsorship of the Southwest Michigan Regional Chamber, McGhee’s Heating & Air Conditioning, The Inn at Harbor Shores, Lake Michigan College, and Silver Beach Pizza, with support from the Parrett Company, United Way of Southwest Michigan and The Mason Jar Cafe, the campaign to find the best and brightest of our local Bold Women of Business Class of 2022 is now underway.
Simply click the link below to nominate a woman in Berrien, Cass or Van Buren County from the business sector, those who volunteer, or from the non-profit world who you feel is making a major difference in our region. Tell us about the unique traits and characteristics they bring to the table every day helping to grow their organization, bring impact to the region, and create positive change on an everyday basis so that our selection committee can honor them for their inspiring efforts.
If you nominated someone last year who didn’t make the final 20, you are welcome to nominate them anew this year, however (as is the case in our entire award series) all previous winners are considered to be members of the Moody on the Market Hall of Fame, and are ineligible for future classes of the award.
The Bold Women of Business Award will go to the top 20 nominees as sorted by the independent selection committee, after which they will be honored in ceremonies recognizing their influence at the Inn at Harbor Shores.
