James Knight's profile continues to rise, not only in Michigan's Great Southwest, but across the entire Midwest region. Knight has earned a promotion to the position of Market Vice President Midwest Region at United Federal Credit Union headquartered in St. Joseph.
Knight joined United Federal seven years ago in the summer of 2009, coming in as a Branch Manager for the Niles market. He was tabbed three years later in 2012 for the role of Market Vice President, but continued to expand his duties with seemingly every passing year.
In his new role as Market Vice President Midwest Region, James will continue to be responsible for retail sales and membership growth in Northern Berrien County and Holland, while also assuming those same responsibilities in United Federal's Southern Berrien County market along with the Indiana and Ohio marketplaces.
His volunteer work has him as Executive Committee Chair of United Way's Impact Committee, and his clearly having an impact on the job as well. James holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Western Michigan University, and earned a Certified Senior Executive designation from the Credit Union Executive Society's School of Applied Strategic Management.
