There’s a new director of Medic One. The Medic One Board of Trustees this week approved the appointment of Jason Wiley to the role. He had been serving as interim director since October, when the board placed longtime Director Jack Fisher on paid leave. Wiley spoke to the Oronoko Township Board of Trustees this week.
“Things are good, people are happy, staffing’s good, and we have a good atmosphere,” Wiley said. “So, we’re going to keep things moving forward.”
Wiley was previously the operations manager for Medic One. A replacement for him in that role will now be sought. According to The Herald Palladium, he’s been with Medic One for 22 years. Fisher had been director of the ambulance service since 1997.
