A new gym is coming to Berrien County.
Aira Fitness, a private gym offering fitness and boot camps, is celebrating its grand opening Tuesday in Stevensville. This is the first Aira fitness location in the southwest Michigan region and owner Jacob Good hopes the new facility helps people fall in love with exercise just as he has.
“I’ve always liked it,” Good said. “I want to build that community, having lots of people coming together to work out.”
The private gym, located on 2620 W. John Beers Rd in Stevensville, features 24/7 memberships that offer gym access, personal training, bootcamps, and a variety of equipment and space to get a workout.
Good, a southwest Michigan native, is excited to bring a new kind of fitness center to the area who may not feel comfortable with working out in a large gym.
“When you get your friends or family, you get a buddy to work out with. That helps a lot. Especially if you’ve got you someone that knows a bunch and someone that doesn’t know anything, start them somewhere, show them something, show them the road.”
Aira Fitness offers three different membership plans, and will be open 24/7. The grand opening will feature a ribbon cutting with Stevensville Chamber of Commerce and more including prizes and giveaways.
