The 17th annual New Buffalo Harvest and Wine Fest is set for Saturday, October 7.
The New Buffalo Business Association’s Elisha Taylor tells us the event raises money for the association’s programming each year, and it’s a great way for residents and visitors to have some fun and mingle.
“We get some merchant vendors in there for shopping, food trucks galore, we have a kids area, pumpkin painting, face painting, and then we have a wonderful band lineup,” Taylor said.
That’s not to mention the wine and beer tent. Taylor says they get a few thousand people each year.
“You can mix and mingle, walk throughout the streets of New Buffalo. We close down Whitaker Street, our main drag, and people can walk around, have a drink, listen to some music, and see your neighbors.”
It’s $10 to get in. The New Buffalo Harvest and Wine Fest will be next Saturday from noon to 9 p.m. Everyone’s invited.
