Please provide an example of when you feel you were at your very best in taking action on the job or in your role.
One of the times I felt I was at my very best was during a particularly difficult harvest season. We faced challenges with sourcing quality fruit due to terrible weather conditions, which threatened the quality of our wine. I took the initiative to reach out to multiple local growers, fostering relationships that had been built over time. By collaborating closely with them, we identified alternative sources and even experimented with some new varietals. After securing the right fruit, I led the team in innovative winemaking techniques to maximize the flavors, resulting in a unique blend that ended up winning awards. It was incredibly rewarding to see how teamwork, perseverance, and creative problem-solving could turn a challenging situation into a celebrated success.

What’s the funniest thing that ever happened on your road to success?
I can’t recall a specific instance, but working at a winery and distillery, it could be total chaos from a fermenter erupting to toasting with a bottle of bubbly popping, we always have a great time with tons of laughs!

Who most inspires your personal drive for success every day?
My family, especially my daughter, inspires my personal drive for success every day. After losing my 6-year-old son and my late husband just 11 months later, my daughter has become my motivation. She’s the reason I get up every morning, the reason I get dressed, and the reason I work so hard. I want to create as many memories with her as possible, honoring our loved ones while building new memories with her and with our new blended family.
