Michigan Works of Berrien, Cass, and Van Buren has temporarily relocated. Michigan Works told us more:

As part of Michigan Works!’ ongoing commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment and transparency with the community, the team at Michigan Works! has become aware that there may be mold in part of the Benton Harbor facility.

“Out of an abundance of caution our team at the Benton Harbor Service Center will be moving to remote work until further notice,” said Paul Kirk, Vice President of Workforce at Michigan Works! Berrien, Cass, Van Buren. “Additional testing for air quality and the presence of mold will be completed.”

The job fair scheduled for tomorrow, September 19 is switching locations from the Benton Harbor Michigan Works! Service Center to the Next Level Tech Center, located at 315 East Main Street in Benton Harbor. The event will still be from 10 AM to 2 PM.

The Michigan Works! Berrien, Cass, Van Buren team remains available to answer questions and assist the public and business owners across Southwest Michigan. For in-person assistance, individuals are encouraged to visit the Paw Paw Michigan Works! Service Center, located at 32849 E. Red Arrow Hwy, #100.
