If you’ve ever wondered about a potential career with the Michigan State Police, a mid-day webinar coming this Saturday would be a great opportunity to get a peek behind the curtain and learn more about that very real possibility.
The Michigan State Police are hosting a virtual recruiting webinar this coming Saturday, August 1st from 11 am to 1 pm for those who are interested in learning more about a career as a Michigan State Police Trooper.
The webinar will provide an overview of such things as:
- The minimum qualifications and essential job functions of a trooper
- Information about taking the entry level law enforcement exam
- The Michigan State Police hiring process
- Trooper recruit school
- The field training officer program
Applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED, be at least 21 years of age by recruit school graduation and be of good moral character with no felony convictions. Additionally, applicants must be a U.S. citizen, and a Michigan resident at the time of appointment to the academy.
