Michigan’s average gas price is down 17¢ in the past week to $3.64 a gallon. AAA Michigan says Jackson’s $3.80 is the highest, while metro Detroit’s $3.46 is the lowest price in the state. A 15-gallon fill up now costs on average $54. The price is 35¢ less than last month and 32¢ higher than last year.
The Benton Harbor/St. Joseph area’s average price is the third-highest in Michigan. AAA Michigan says that price is $3.77 a gallon.
