With many Michigan businesses gearing up to reopen in the coming days and weeks, one of the toughest tasks they may face is finding a supply of the Personal Protection Equipment, or PPE, that is being mandated by government requirements in order to safely reopen and minimize risks to everybody during the current pandemic. The Michigan Chamber of Commerce is working to help find those resources for business. As you’ll see below, Cornerstone Alliance is localizing that effort in Berrien County as well.
Bob Thomas, Chief Operating Officer for the Michigan Chamber, says, “Governor Whitmer’s Executive Orders make it mandatory that businesses provide employees with the proper safety equipment to reopen operations,” and adds, “Finding PPE will be the hardest part for small businesses that do not have access to a supply chain.” The good news is, he says, “The Michigan Chamber has assembled a list of Michigan businesses that can provide locally sourced, manufactured, or distributed PPE to organizations across the state.”
Member companies of the Chamber voluntarily indicated they either have sources, or manufacture or distribute PPE as part of the list. While the Michigan Chamber cannot guarantee immediate supply stock or service availability of PPE, it is providing links to businesses looking for supplies as quickly as possible and from local sources. The Chamber suggests buyers to contact companies directly for product information, availability and warranty. The current list of manufacturers and vendors who can take or accept aggregate orders from the public can be found at the link below:

Meanwhile, on a more localized effort, Cornerstone Alliance has provided a link to Berrien County businesses who can provide PPE as well, and that can be found below:
